The One Accessory you Need for Spring

Can you smell it in the air? The temperatures are starting to rise, the flowers are trying to break through and the fresh smell of spring is in the air. The new season is right around the corner! If you’re like me and still get a little chilly as the temperature shifts then thigh-high socks are the way to go. They’re cozy, warm and add just the right amount of fabulous to any look.

Here are 3 ways to wear thigh-high socks this spring!

With a slip dress

A slip dress is perfect for this time of year. Not only is it super stylish, but you can also layer various pieces underneath it to create completely different looks. I used a white blouse to match my thigh-high socks but you could also use a t-shirt, turtleneck or light sweater, depending on the weather. Throw on a white bootie and create the illusion of a white OTK boot. The white socks add a touch of spring by keeping the outfit light and bright.

With layers

Since the weather is all over the place during the switch from winter to spring, layers are definitely key. Layer your entire look with lighter pieces and for those colder days add in a sleek coat. Throwing your thigh-high socks over a pair of tights adds some extra warmth and a touch of cuteness to your look. Talk about a win win!

With matching colours

Thigh-High socks are one of my favourite accessories and in grey they match perfectly with my chunky grey sweater. By adding pops of white throughout the look it starts transitioning the look for spring. Pair them with a mini skirt during those warmer days and dare to bare those legs by slowly transitioning to bare legs and adding length to those gams.

So get your hands on a pair of thigh-high socks and start planning all your fabulous spring looks.
