Rachel will dedicate the month of March to celebrate women. For the occasion, 1% of the sales of their popular tights will be donated to the Marie Eve Center which welcomes and supports women in precarious situations during and after their pregnancy.
Why a women's month?
Women have a special place in Rachel’s story. To highlight their importance, the company has decided to dedicate the month of March to celebrate them!
First, to highlight female entrepreneurial success. In 2014, as you probably know, with little experience, but a lot of curiosity, the co-founders, Carolyne and Mélanie went to meet suppliers in Italy in order to develop the most beautiful, innovative, comfortable tights while respecting ethical standards of work and environment.
Back in Montreal, they created Rachel, with the desire to bring a breath of fresh air to the tights industry.
Over time, in addition to the popular tights, Rachel has expanded its collections, enhancing its offer with eco-responsible pieces for the women’s wardrobe. Skirts, dresses, lingerie and tights are now in the spotlight, in sizes XS to XXXL to celebrate body diversity.
Since then, the brand has surrounded itself with a passionate team of 10 women from diverse backgrounds who contribute day after day to the success of the company.
The Horizon program
Last fall, Rachel launched the Horizon program, which aims to (re)empower women in need.
Rachel has always had the fulfillment and well-being of women at heart. Through this program, the company reiterates its commitment to the cause by establishing concrete actions to help improve the well-being of women in need and their living conditions. Since last September, more than $4,000 has been donated to various organizations.
Throughout the month of March, Rachel will give back 1% of the sales of their tights to the Marie Eve Centre.
